Our History at Vinewood Meadows
Mike Moon Studio has photographed more than 20 weddings at Vinewood Meadows.
When you photograph a venue that many times, you stop guessing. You know how long it takes to walk the wedding party from the arbor to the pavilion. You know where the shade falls under the oak tree. You know how the barn hall looks once the chandeliers come on.
That experience is what this guide is about.
What Vinewood Meadows Feels Like on a Wedding Day
An Arbor, a Pavilion, an Oak and a Barn
Vinewood Meadows feels like a farm wedding with a little polish. A wooden arbor walkway leads to a draped ceremony pavilion at the end of a stone path, a big oak tree waits for portraits, and the reception moves into a barn hall set with long farm tables, chandeliers and string lights.
Everything is a short walk apart, so the day moves at an easy pace and guests are never far from the next moment.
How the Day Usually Flows
Every wedding is different, but here’s the rhythm we see at Vinewood Meadows.
Getting ready and first look. The house on the property makes a cheerful backdrop for wedding party photos, and there is plenty of room nearby for a first look before the ceremony.
Ceremony. The walk through the wooden arbor tunnel is one of the prettiest entrances we photograph anywhere. It leads to the draped pavilion, where the couple says their vows with guests seated along the stone walkway.
Portraits. After the ceremony, the sprawling oak tree is our go-to for wedding party and couple portraits.
Reception. The barn hall is warm and full of character, with chandeliers overhead and string lights for the first dance.
Send-off. We’ve photographed glowing bubble send-offs at the end of the night.
Our Favorite Photo Spots at Vinewood Meadows
The wooden arbor. A natural frame for the processional and for couple portraits.
The ceremony pavilion. Soft drapes and the stone walkway make for clean, symmetrical ceremony photos.
The oak tree. Big branches and open shade, perfect for wedding party photos and a long veil caught in the breeze.
The barn hall. Chandeliers and string lights after dark. Our Moonlite Lighting System lets us make clean, natural portraits in the barn, which are often couples’ favorite photos from the whole day.
